The College was inaugurated on 18th August 2004 and three batches of students have passed out from its portals. It maintains the highest standard of academic excellence, practical training and high moral values. It caters both to the English and the Marathi medium students. It has an experienced and qualified staff.

The Department of Education offers the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree of the Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Navi Mumbai. The program runs from June to April, with a Common Entrance Test (CET) and counseling process.  The College is located at the Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyanagar at Sector 7, Nerul , Navi Mumbai. It is equipped with an extensive Library and Reading Room and utilises modern educational technology.

B.Ed Seminars and Workshops

Seminars, workshops are conducted  every year on various aspect of education as methodolgy for teacher educator and student teacher. The department brings out an annual report which includes proceeding seminars and workshops.

The faculty of department are invited as a resource person by various college in and outside Maharashtra. The department invites recognised qualified lecturers as visiting faculty required.

Every year workshops and seminars on the area of educational research organised by department.The Faculty conducted the normal session of Lectures, Workshops, Seminars and paper presentations. Innovative practices like Models of Teaching, Micro-Teaching, Role Play etc. assisted the students in gaining knowledge and teaching skills.
