MT-CET 2014

The Maharashtra Technology-Common Entrance Test (MT-CET) 2014 is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). MT-CET evaluates candidates for admission to pharmacy courses. The test will be held online on 20, 21 April, 2014.

Till 2013, MT CET was also conducted for engineering courses such as B.E, B.Tech but it has been now replaced by JEE Main.

MT CET Exam pattern

  • Part I: Physics and Chemistry, 1 hour (100 marks, 50 questions)
  • Part II: Biology (Botany and Zoology), 1 hour (100 marks, 50 questions)

  • Part III: Mathematics, 1 hour (100 marks, 50 questions)

The exam will be held online (computer based) and will have no negative marking for wrong answers. The test would be set in English only. You will be given one hour to complete each paper (the exam schedule with entry times is given above).

MT CET Syllabus

The syllabi for physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics papers are the same as the March 2014 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination of HSC Boards of Maharashtra.

Candidates are assigned exam centres at the district headquarters of the notified college where the online application form printout was submitted.

The exam centre cannot be changed.

MT CET Results

The results of the test will be available on the Directorate of Technical Education website. Results should be available on or before 5 June, 2014.
