Directorate of Medical Education and Research Maharashtra (DMER) - PGD CET Introduction

Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai, Maharashtra conducts an entrance examination for admission in various post graduate dental streams offered by Dental Colleges in Maharashtra. The admission is made on the basis of PGDCET conducted by D.M.E.R., Mumbai, Maharashtra.


Eligibility Criteria for postgraduate degree courses in dentistry is given under;

Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian National.

Educational Qualification: A candidate, who has passed final B.D.S. degree from a recognised dental college included in the schedule of the Dental Council of India and situated in Maharashtra, affiliated to the Non-agricultural University established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994 and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and who has obtained full registration either from the Dental Council of India or Maharashtra State Dental Council (MSDC) after completing one year compulsory rotating internship are eligible to appear for PGD-CET.

Registration: A candidate should have obtained DCI/MSDC registration on or before 15th April, of the year of entrance examination.
