ASSO CET Maharashtra 2012
Common Entrance Test (ASSO CET), Maharashtra is conducted by the Association of the Managements of Un-aided Engineering Colleges. The organization is the registered organization in the state of Maharashtra.
The main function of the Association is to resolve the common problems of the various institutions by establishing liaison with various Universities, State Government, Director of Technical Education and All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE).
Common Entrance Test (CET) is meant to those aspirants, who wants to earn an engineering degree in applied sciences disciplines. Unaided private colleges across Maharashtra offers a wide range of programs / courses in a no. of engineering, scientific, and technological disciplines leading to B.E. / B.Tech., etc.
The degree and certificates are recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), University Grants Commission (UGC)
and other agencies as well. After successful completion of degree
program in any stream, a candidate is eligible to work for Govt.
agencies, PSUs etc with a certain degree of responsibility and handsome
remunerations.
ASSO CET 2012 Eligibility Criteria
A candidate should have passed / appeared in the HSC ( std. 12th ) examination from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.Admission to Bio-Medical / Bio-Tech Engg. Courses
Candidates seeking admission to Biomedical / Bio-Tech Engineering course should have passed in the subject of Biology in the qualifying examination in addition to fulfilling the above mentioned eligibility criteria.Private unaided engineering colleges across Maharashtra offers seats in a number of engineering, scientific and technological disciplines i.e. chemical, civil, electrical, electronics, IT & Computers, Biotechnology, etc. to name a few.
