Maharashtra University of Health Sciences

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences has been founded on 21st January 1999. The main aim of the university is to offer proper and systematic instruction in teaching, training and research in modern Indian medicine in the state of Maharashtra. Currently it is the leading medical university with six faculties and about 200 institutions recognized by this university. Nearly 11,000 students take admissions per year to its affiliated institutions; out of those 4500 candidates come out with MBBS degrees.

The Maharashtra University of Health Science has also initiated Research fellowships for 100 undergraduate students and 10 teachers of Rs. 500/- and Rs. 15,000/- respectively.
