Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Science University

Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Science University (MAFSU) is the State University situated at Seminary Mountain in Nagpur. Nagpur Veterinary College, Nagpur, College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Sciences, University College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Parbhani, and Bombay Veterinary College are the colleges and institutes duly recognized by this university.

The University provides diploma, undergraduate B V Sc, and postgraduate M V Sc courses and Ph.D programmes in veterinary science and animal husbandry.

Candidates who have passed their 12th standard examination in science stream as well as state entrance test set by the government are eligible for admission. The University offers Master’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (M.V. Sc), which is of two years duration and allows admission to the students with B V Sc degree from here or any other recognized university.
